Trendy Shopping at Las Vegas

While Las Vegas may be known to gambling and casino, cannot you look past all the options trading available to the traveler in Las Vegas. There are plenty of places to go shopping in Las Vegas, and you may lose some money in the shops - at least you have something to take home with you - something that the blackjack table might forget to do.

The Range has a ton of options to purchase for you. Most mega-resort casinos have some sort of shopping center connected to their free games casino.

Caesar's Palace Forum Shops is connected to the casino. It is a popular place for tourists and locals to go out, grab a bite to eat or shop. Store include everything from GapKids and Guess? Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry and among its 150 stores. The restaurants include Planeta Hollywood and the popular Cheesecake Factory. Or if you're looking for something a little different, you can get sushi at Sushi Roku or try Wolfgang Puck Spago. There are shops for everyone here, or you are a good place to people watch or check out the shows source.

Across the street from the Forum Shops are the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian. This huge mall has canals with gondolas and the city of Venice. you can wander the cobbled streets or take a ride in a gondola. Anyway, there are a ton of shops and restaurants to enjoy, as well as numerous street artists around the mall. One of the interesting things about the Grand Canal Shoppes is that the ceiling is painted like the sky and lit like - so, along with the channel is almost as if you're strolling the streets of Venice.

If you're playing Paris Hilton for a day and feel as though the Gap, Anthropologie, and similar stores are below you, head over to the Wynn or the Bellagio. The stores in these spots are definitely for the shopper who doesn't care. At these spots you'll find Chanel, Christian Dior, Manolo Blahnik as well as a bunch of other stores named after French guys with names that are hard to pronounce. And don't stop at clothing, in the Wynn be sure to stop at the Ferrari Maserati dealership located in the casino.

Fashion Show Mall is located on the corner of Spring Mountain and Las Vegas. This mall located in the middle of the strip is like any other mall with hundreds of stores to choose from. The only difference is that, well, there's a fashion show at various times throughout the day. You've seen them on t.v., the models strutting down walkways - well now you can see it live. Not only that, but the Fashion Show Mall is a great place to stop and rest and take a break from the heat if you're hiking the strip.

Not too far from the strip are two outlet malls - both of which you can catch shuttles to from numerous casinos and hotels. The Las Vegas Premium Outlets are located north of the strip, close to downtown. This outlet mall contains your standard outlet mall fare - Polo, Calvin Klein, Ann Taylor. This is an outdoor mall - so it's a little tough in the hottest months, but extremely pleasant during the winter, spring, and fall months. The other outlet center, called Las Vegas Outlet Center is located south on Las Vegas Blvd. and is completely indoors. Again - standard outlet mall fare includes Coach, Addidas, and Tommy Hilfiger. There is also a giant carousel that the kiddies might enjoy.

Come to Las Vegas and get your gamble on - but don't forget to save a few chips, time, and energy for the many shopping experiences that Sin City has to offer.

The scoop on Carly Rae Jepsen’s MMVA manicure! If there was an award for “Best Nails” she would have won it

Not only did Carly Rae Jepsen sweep last night’s MMVAs, taking home three awards and performing twice—she also took the nail art spotlight away from manicure enthusiast Katy Perry. Jepsen’s sparkly tips were hard to miss on stage, and given her multiple wins and performances there was plenty of on-camera time to scope them out.

Best of all, just like Jepsen, the manicure was totally homegrown, done by none other than Leeanne Colley, owner of Tips Nail Bar and Revlon’s nail expert. “Carly kept saying, ‘I’m all about whatever you want to do,’” Colley told us, which resulted in a totally playful and definitely unique look. Colley started by adding a bit of length to Jepsen’s natural nail, with stiletto-shaped tips.

Revlon Colorstay Long Wear Nail Enamel in “Stiletto” (a rich shade of black) was the basis for the design, but each nail was adorned with its own glitzy element, including 3D holographic glitter and black-to-silver fades. One nail was painted with a watercolour effect, and two were painted with hearts—which coincidentally matched Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” dress. And there was another heart on her fingers: Colley pierced the nail on Jepsen’s ring finger with a heart-shaped charm that dangled all night long and clearly brought some good luck as well.
